ST-565 Inline HST Probe
ST-565 is a UV excited fluorescence probe for measuring the concentration of halogen stable triazole (HST) in cooling tower water in the range of 0 to 7.5 ppm. Installation The ST-565 probe has two union ¾ inch NPT ports (sample in and out) in both glue and threaded options. Sample water entering the probe must be below 104 °F (40 °C)
Calibration:
The probe can be easily calibrated using the uPyxis APP for smartphone and the MA-WB Bluetooth adapter. For a one-point calibration, the Pyxis handheld unit (SP-395) should be used to measure the HST concentration in the sample and calibrate the ST-565 reading to the measured value using the uPyxis APP. The probe can also be removed from the tee and emerged in deionized water and 1ppm or 2ppm HST calibration standard in a beaker for zero and slope calibration.
